Explanations

So this blog is going to be about my life and my everyday activities I like to call journeys. There is a lot going on in my life right now so my head is a little scattered. I really do not know how to get this started, but I am going to do my best.

For those of you who need a refresher on me:

As of right now, my goals this far in life are pretty straight forward. Complete the training I want to complete. (Don’t want to say what to save myself once I get there.) Complete an Ironman distance triathlon. Lastly, just be healthy and happy. With that said, I am ready to do whatever it takes to get there. I currently have a beautiful girlfriend, Ana. I am stationed out of Hawaii, which I would absolutely love if I only had my loved ones. For the past couple years I have been training my butt off to prepare myself for what I plan to go through. Last year I decided on a whim to do a triathlon. With no real preparation I entered and placed second in my age group. I think twentieth overall. I was hooked right away. Ever since I have been training for tris while at home. The second race I entered again I got second in my AG, I believe I was thirteenth overall this time. I have not been following a strict training regiment, but when I get home I think I am going to change that up in order to maximize my results, why not right? I think the reason I fell in love with triathlons is because I was already doing similar training in order to prepare myself for my future. Whatever it is, I am hooked.

As most of you know I have skateboarded for about twelve years of my life and until recently it was a huge part of me. After numerous injuries and time on the plywood I have decided to let the board go for a while. It is too much of a risk to put this much time in effort into something only to throw it away. Not saying I am done skating forever, but for the next little while I have to chill out on the skateboard. I know Tommy, sorry. HAHA.

Well I guess that is a good enough update for now. It is time to get to the gym for daily couple hours of workout. I cannot wait to get home and get back into the swing of things, but for now, gym and running will have to do.
